Biography: Born in Liverpool, John played at Everton FC as a professional before he emigrated to New Zealand. There, John won the NZ Championship and Cup Winners Cup.  Represented New Zealand National Team. Attained NZ Oceania level 2 & 3 Coaching Badges, an UEFA B Coaching Badge in the UK. Coached Premier League and Div 1 in NZ. Worked at Everton FC with their Community Academy system in England. Has won numerous NH State Cup and Super Y Championships with teams over the years here at Seacoast United. Coaches the U16 USSF Development Academy team. John, brings a lot of soccer knowledge to SUSC, and is very familiar with working with and developing younger players. John holds a USSF C License.

Rob Thompson

Head Coach, U18 US Development Academy

Biography:  A Virginia native, Rob is in his 15th year as head coach of the Men’s Soccer program at the University of New Hampshire.  He holds the USSF "A" license and the NSCAA Premier Diploma.  Prior to coaching at UNH, he was involved with club and Olympic Development Programs in Virginia.  For the past 9 years, he has coached Seacoast United teams to eight USYSA state titles and two New England Super Y championship berths.  Rob’s 2001 U-16’s finished 4th at the Super Y League National Championship.  This past year, Rob led his SUSC U-17 boys’ team to the USYSA Region I final.

 

Ewan Seabrook

Assistant Coach, U18 US Development Academy

Biography: Seabrook is a native of Lewes, England and holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).  A 2002 Oneonta State graduate, he served as the assistant coach at Hartwick College from 2004-08.  He is currently the assistant coach at the University of New Hampshire.  Prior to his position at Hartwick, Seabrook worked as the graduate assistant coach at Drury University (MO) from 2003-04.  Seabrook played soccer at Iona College and SUNY-Oneonta.  As a player he was selected to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) all-rookie team while playing for the Gaels.  While playing for the Red Dragons, Seabrook was on the SUNYAC Academic All-Conference team and earned Commissioner’s List honors.  In 2002, he graduated with honors from Oneonta State with a BS in Business Economics.  This is Seabrook’s second year with the Club.
