Seacoast United fully understands the importance of training and over the past 10 years has been putting more and more of our resources into providing the highest level training programs for our youngest players. As proven with our system of progression from our Grassroots Program to our Skills & Scrimmage Program to our first tryout based program the Jr. Academy. Each of those programs offers age appropriate training allowing our players at the youngest ages to grow and develop not just their skills but a love and passion for the game.
Once players already particiapting with SUSC programs ‘graduate’ from our Jr. Academy, they’re eligible for our next level of progression, Seacoast United’s Advanced Training Program (ATP). The ATP’s emphasis on individual skill development, developing a level of accountability to players approach to training and creating a continually competitive environment will prepare players for future success at the regional and national level. In 2009, the ATP’s inaugural year, the program made strides in the education of the importance of training.
Players were introduced to what a professional approach to training means, how to be competitive within their team and with teammates as well as how to showcase their skills through more competitive league play in the New England Premiership while ’Seacoast’ ATP teams competed in appropriate GSYSL leagues. Our hope is that parents and players recognize our devotion to player development and see the U11 & U12 age groups as stepping stones for future success in club, high school and college play.
U11 & U12 ATP Tryouts:
Boys – June 14th & 16th from 5:00-7:00pm
Girls – June 15th & 17th from 5:00-7:00pm
*U10 players CAN tryout for our U11 ATP teams but are encouraged to participate in our Jr. Academy Program
