Field Players Prep: SUSC’s professional coaches will technically prepare players to make an impact at their respective high school & club preseasons and tryouts. By focusing on players’ first touch, creative skill work, control out of the air and quick decision making players will become more comfortable and confident with the ball. Part of each night will be dedicated to speed & agility work with ball skills preparing players for the rigors of their upcoming seasons.
Goalkeeper Prep: During our HS Preseason Camp, Goalkeepers will work on fitness, technical, and tactical skills necessary to prepare them for their fall season. Part of our session each day will be working with the field players to face live shots and actual game situations during scrimmages. Technical skills include ball handling, footwork, shot stopping, diving, parrying/deflections, back to bar, 1v1’s, crosses, and more. Skills will be sharpened both individually and in small group activities. Keepers will also work on communication, how to organize their defenders during game play, set pieces (walls, free kicks), & handling the back pass.
