Founded with the philosophy that a high quality training atmosphere and individual time with the ball is the key to younger players’ development, our JA program has lead to earlier development of natural ability and cultivated hundreds of player’s love for the game.  Instilling good training habits and passion for the game at a young age helps to keep players interested in continuing with the sport as they grow.  This program has become an integral part of our player development as many of our Jr. Academy graduates have gone on to shine on younger SUSC club teams and even some of our earliest graduates now perform on the national level with our USDAP.

Seacoast United’s Jr. Academy Program has grown by leaps and bounds in 2009 almost tripling in size from 2008.  With the addition of our South Berwick, York, Kingston and Derry Satellite Programs we have been able to benefit players otherwise too far for us to work with on a consistent basis.  Because of our programs success through the winter many players have asked what they could participate in during the summer months similar to their Jr. Academy experience. 

Our answer to those questions is our Jr. Academy Prep Camp. Offered a few weeks before our Jr. Academy tryouts, previous JA players will get a chance to get back into the JA mindset and re-acclimate themselves to the level of competition and coaching expected for the program. 

For players considering trying out for the Jr Academy Program this is a fantastic opportunity to be introduced to the expectations of the program.  The camp will mimic how our JA Program is run during the winter months to give parents and players a good idea of what they will experience if they decide to try out and are selected.  Players will be introduced to some of our JA coaches that will oversee and coach the camp as well as the competition level and some current JA players.
