Seacoast United Volunteers For Special Olympics
On Friday July 13th, Seacoast United hosted the Special Olympics of NH Soccer championships at UNH in Durham.
This was the 9th consecutive year the Seacoast United has provided the volunteers to run the event.  The tasks included refereeing, scorekeeping, ballboys/girls, time-keepers, players and general cheerleaders for all of the competitors.

The event is a wonderful experience for all involved and the athletes are truly appreciative of all of the support that our volunteers provide.  We could not even consider the event running smoothly without the help that the Seacoast volunteers provide.

Throughout the afternoon, 15 teams competed for the Championship.  Each team needs to have three athletes and three partners on the field during the game.  Some teams did not have enough partners, so some of our younger volunteers were able to spend time on the field.

During the afternoon, some of our volunteers even helped with other Special Olympic competitions.  Poviding volunteers that are willing to help in anyway to make the day a success made all of us at Seacoast United feel very proud

A special thank you to all of the adults/parents that helped out also.  Your enthuesiam and willingness to help in anyway, made life easier for Ian, David and Kim

Thank you to all.

Seacoast United is a Nonprofit 501(c)3 Organization
