2014 Soccerthon

What is the Soccerthon?
On April 18th and 19th, the Seacoast United Foundation will host a "24-Hours of Soccer" Soccerthon fundraiser event which will involve all of the club teams and Jr. Academies of Seacoast United and Seacoast United Storm, as well as coaches, parents, and alumni.  Funds raised from this event will benefit three organizations:

  • Special Olympics of New Hampshire
  • The Northeast Passage Power Soccer program
  • Seacoast United Foundation scholarship and community grant programs

How does it work?
The full 24 hours of the Soccerthon will be split into 3 hour blocks, with designated age groups participating during each 3-hour block.  Players will be playing in games for 60-90 minutes of each 3-hour time block.  Players will be assigned to teams the week of March 17th, and will be participating on those teams with players of similar age during the time blocks specified.  Specific game schedules are available below.

The event will begin in Epping at the Seacoast United Outdoor Complex at 4pm on Friday, April 18th and continue through 10pm.  The 10pm-7am hours will take place at the Hampton Indoor Arena, and then the event moves back to Epping for the final 9 hours on Saturday (7am-4pm).  The Soccerthon will incorporate a SoccerFest festival at the fields as well from 7am-4pm on Saturday, April 19th with competitions and contests, along with fun activities such as bouncy houses, juggling zones, and more.  Food vendors will be on-site who are also donating a portion of their sales back to the fundraising efforts of the event.
