This page is dedicated to all of the non-soccer / field hockey / lacrosse / baseball events that Seacoast United puts together. The fundraising efforts of Seacoast United are aimed at giving back to those who have given to us. Such organizations and people include the US Soccer Foundation, our players, surrounding communities and many other charitable organizations throughout the world.
We will utilize this page to announce and promote these events in the hopes that as many people from within and outside our organization will take part.
The 2011 Jarkko Tuominen Scholars were announced at the Jarkko Tuominen Memorial Golf Tournament held on Monday, August 1st at Abenaqui Country Club in Rye, NH. A total of 29 student-athletes from Seacoast United Soccer Club, Field Hockey Club, Seacoast United Maine, and the FC Greater Boston Bolts were awarded scholarships as they begin their college careers this fall.
Both Seacoast United golf events benefit the Club’s financial assistance programs, helping families with the costs of tuition and travel expenses. The Ledges in York, ME will host our annual Bob Masi Memorial Golf Tournament in May, and Abenaqui Country Club will host the Jarkko Tuominen Memorial Golf Tournament in August.
