History

The Seacoast United Field Hockey Club was formed in 1999 to give competitive training and playing experience to the top field hockey players in New Hampshire, Southern Maine, Northern Massachusetts, and Southern Vermont.   Our philosophy is to focus on the growth and development of every player.   Our premier teams are for the more serious players who are striving to play at the collegiate level.  The Club will provide them with the chance to compete in an environment that will enhance their skills and ultimately put them in the "shop window" for college coaches to view by having our teams compete at National events such as National Indoors and National Festival.

The Club has a youth Training Academy, as well as 11 premier traveling teams: three at under 14, four at under 16, and four at  under 19.   We also have development teams: one at the under 14, three at the under 16, and two at the under 19.  All of our club teams train for approximately 16-24 weeks during their winter seaon and approx. 16 weeks during their summer season.  Our players are committed to practicing every week to improve their technique and ultimately get them ready for the collegiate level.
