Seacoast United Phantoms Begin 2013 PDL Season This Weekend
HAMPTON, NH - On Saturday May 18th, the Seacoast United Phantoms are excited to get the 2013 Premier Development League soccer season underway with a road game against the GPS Portland Phoenix in Portland, ME.  The Phantoms, coached by former Scottish First Division manager Iain Scott, look to add some bright new talent to a strong core of returning players this season.

Scott has brought back many returning players from the 2011 group that were Northeast Division Champions, including current BC captain Ryan Dunn, graduating University of New Hampshire captain Jordan Thomas, and last year's Phantoms captain James Goodwin.  Also returning this season are former UNH standouts Joey Barima, Dylan George, Brad Hilton, Eric Masi, Steve Palumbo, Scott Rowling, and Travis Worra.  Following a season marred by injuries last summer, Quinnipiac University's Player of the Year Robbie McLarney is set to return to give the Phantoms a huge boost in the midfield.  New additions to the 2013 roster include 2012 NPSL standouts Ben Brewster and Eddie Jones from the Seacoast United Mariners.

The Phantoms open their home schedule on May 30th against Real Boston in Portsmouth, NH with a 7pm kickoff.

Former Phantoms Standout Receives Invite to Breakers Preseason
April 26, 2013
For the majority of collegiate players, their soccer careers wrap up at the end of their senior season. University of New Hampshire midfielder Monique LaMotte is determined to continue her career at the highest level possible.

Monique, known by her coaches and friends as "Mo", is currently finishing up her senior year at UNH with a focus in Sports Marketing.  During the past three seasons Mo has been an integral part of the Seacoast United Phantoms midfield, competing in the Women’s Premier Soccer League with games taking place from May through July.

While she planned on returning to the Phantoms for a 4th season, Mo decided in February to attend the open tryouts for the Boston Breakers women's professional team.  Based on her performance during the open tryout, she received an invitation to join the team for preseason training.
