GPS Portland Tops Phantoms 1-0
June 13th, 2013

PORTSMOUTH, NH - A damp evening of rain showers welcomed fans and both teams as they took to the field for the third meeting of the season between the visiting GPS Portland Phoenix and hosts Seacoast United Phantoms at Portsmouth High School.

With the Phantoms struggling to score goals as of late, head coach Iain Scott still had high hopes heading into this match as his squad controlled the majority of possession the last time the two teams played just 12 days ago despite a 1-0 loss. Click here to read more.

Phantoms Women Fall to Mutiny 2-0
Wednesday, June 12th, 2013
The Phantoms faced the New England Mutiny at Portsmouth High School on Wednesday evening in the second matchup of the 2013 season between the two clubs.  Light showers left double rainbows over the field just before kickoff while the home team had support from several Seacoast United U12 and U13 players for this mid-week divisional game.

Mutiny struck first in the 11th minute when Phantoms goalkeeper Jamie Gillis collided with Rachel Ugolik at the top of the 18 yard box in making a save on a through-ball.  Jenna Fisher picked up the loose rebound and scored from 20 yds out on an open net to take the 1-0 lead before the Phantoms defenders could retreat to the goal line.  Click here to read more.
