Biography: Karl was a former player of New Hampshire College where he received All-American and National Championship in 1989. While attaining his Master’s Degree, Karl was Assistant Women’s Coach at New Hampshire College. Before heading over to the states, Karl was an apprentice to the Liverpool Football Club which is part of the English Premier League. Karl holds the FA Preliminary Coaching Badge and USSF "B" License. Karl has coached numerous teams throughout the years at SUSC. He currently coaches the U14 Boys Premier Team.  Karl resides in Brentwood, NH with his son, Evan, and daughter, Elizabeth.
Club Responsibilities: Karl’s responsibility for Seacoast United is to ensure that each player for the club is being developed to the greatest potential within them. He cites continual monitoring and development of the coaching staff as the priority for progressive development within players. Further, the importance of the providing competitive leagues and competitive games is paramount to any player’s success. Karl continues to research methods of enhancing coaching skills within the staff and also is taking a major part in organizing the infrastructure of competitive play within the club and the region.

Biography: Born in Liverpool, John played at Everton FC as a professional before he emigrated to New Zealand. There, John won the NZ Championship and Cup Winners Cup. Represented New Zealand National Team. Attained NZ Oceania level 2 & 3 Coaching Badges, an UEFA B Coaching Badge in the UK. Coached Premier League and Div 1 in NZ. Worked at Everton FC with their Community Academy system in England. Has won numerous NH state cup and super y championships with teams over the years here at Seacoast United. Coaches the U16 USSF Development Academy team along with U15 and 19 premier teams this year. John, brings a lot of soccer knowledge to SUSC, and is very familiar with working with and developing younger players. John holds a USSF C License.
Club Responsibilities: Johns primary responsibilies lie with the structure of coaching within the Seacoast club and its staff. He is also fully responsible for the operation of the USL Super Y league teams in New England from not only Seacoast United NH but its affiliate club in Maine SUSC Maine. Overseeing the newly formed USA Soccer Development Academy teams from SUSC scheduling and administrative duties including travel internally and overseas. John’s coaching responsibilities include coaching the U15 Boys Premier Team, U15 Boys Super Y Team, U19 Boys Premier Team, Boys Super 20 Team, 7 & 8 Boys Academy Team and Skills Training Program Classes.
Matt Sprague

Biography: Matt is originally from Bedford, NH and grew up playing his youth soccer in both New Hampshire and Eastern Pennsylvania. He played and graduated from Manchester West High School and went on to play and graduate from St. Anselm College. While at St. Anselm, Matt helped the Hawks earn two conference championships and two ECAC championships. During his Junior and Senior Year, St. Anselm accrued an impressive 38 - 4 record. After graduating in 2000 with a BA in Biology, Matt went on to work in Cambridge, MA for a biotechnology company as a Fermentation Scientist.   While in Boston he began his coaching career coaching for Brookline Soccer Club. During this time Matt was also an Assistant Coach with the NH ODP Program. After moving back to NH and teaching for a year at Manchester Memorial High School, Matt was offered a fulltime position at Seacoast United. Since coming to the club Matt has been the coach of the U15 Girls Premier Team in 2005, U16 Girls Premier Team in 2006 and the U14 Girls Premier Team in 2007.   This year Matt is the Coach of the U15 Girls Premier Team, U19 Girls Premier Team, and the U20 Girls Super Y Team. Matt currently holds a USSF "B" License. Matt lives in Fremont, NH with his wife, Lia, son, Landon, and daughter, Aislinn.
Club Responsibilities: Matt’s primary responsibilities are the handling of the soccer club finances (player tuition, coaches expenses, coaches stipends, etc..), media relations, and website development. In addition, he is the Tournament Director for the Nike Indoor Cup, Labor Day Friendlies, and Girls Spring Invitational. Matt’s coaching responsibilities include coaching the U15 Girls Premier Team, U15 Girls Super Y Team, U19 Girls Premier Team, Girls Super 20 Team, 7 & 8 Girls Academy Team and Skills Training Program Classes.
